#21: Reddish Brown Balayage
What would you say about the look? It’s the red balayage color, paired with teasy lighting to give it a soft appearance and break out of the traditional color she used in her hair. #22: Auburn Red Balayage
What would you say about the look? The look is multi-tonal auburn/copper color melting. For this look, we created the subtle root smudge, using an a warmer shade that her normal (4nw) followed by painting the area of roots through the midsections in certain areas , and along the ends of some (5c+5cb as well as 7c) to add depth and depth. For the ends , and up into the midsections, I used the lighter color of color of copper (8c) to finish the multi-tonal melt. To highlight the shades we could choose to curl it in a soft “beachy” hairstyle. For the preparation of her hair, we applied the texturizer spray which has heat protection. In this way, we can get holding, protection from color and some additional grit. After curl, we applied an additional layer with the same color to give the hold and volume. Be sure to apply high-quality color-care products at home to maintain the color you prefer. Consult your stylist to determine if the color you want to achieve is suitable for your eyes and skin tone. You have (luckily) numerous options in the realm of warm hues – so do your homework and ensure that you are comfortable with your colorist. If you’re not a fan of having frequent visits to the salon then perhaps you should consider gold tone or copper with a longer life over the other reds which tend to fade after four weeks. Take into consideration that the material that you apply the color is also important. Are you wearing lighter or more ash-toned hair? #24: Dark Red on Dark Hair
What would you say about the look? What I like about this shade is the way the brighter red is reflected in the the mahogany curls of her hair. My gorgeous client has naturally wavy hair and wanted brighter reds in her color dark mahogany locks. This is why I decided to make strong red pieces to match her curls and to contrast with the more dark red. Colors that flow this way work well with a hairstyle that adds body, so I gave her layers of medium length with lots of texture. Are there any tips for those who is considering this? Reds must always be vivid! Hair colors that are red tend to fade quickly and then become dull if you do not keep up with the maintenance. My client is in a non-creative field which is why this color lets her be a fun, vibrant red, without becoming too overwhelming.
#25: Brunette and Red Balayage Hair
What would you say about the look? This red hue is a versatile red. I made blonde balayage with this client a while ago, and she was looking for something more bold. I kept her hair’s natural roots with different shades of red based on the direction of light to add more dimension. I like how she can wear her hair in a bob and then back to make it look more natural. When she’s ready to show off her style, she can show off her hair in a relaxed way. I believe that waves can increase the dimension and strength that the shade has. Do you have any advice for those thinking about it? Keep in mind that this could be a maintenance-intensive color. You will need to touch it up every now and again. I always suggest my customers to apply a quality conditioner and shampoo that preserves color. The use of too hot styling tools can cause the color to fade more quickly. Last but not least should you be thinking about the idea, do it! Colors can be enjoyable.
